Watch Design

This is our last Creative Thinking class, we designed a watch for our friend, the watch type is from swatch. Here is a part of our works.

T his my design for my friend---Li Tian. He like Hip-Hop elements. So this Swatch is about Hip-Hop. I use “NY”mark to be 12. 3 arrow mark are number with 3,6,8.
I only use three color on this watch. Black, white and beige. Less is more. I put my friend's english name on watchband, that means this watch is his special.

This is my friend designed for me, on the surface it's the name of my favorite band. I like blue, so this watch he designed for me the watchband is blue.

 These are my classmates's works. Full of meanings.





















All my friends think this watch will appear in the future. Time, date, message will appear like projector. When users don't need to see the time or something, the surface of the watch will disappear.

Jewelry

I'm a student of 3D Design. Although my major is Furniture and Spatial, I also like to draw some jewelry for fun. The first picture is my first work. This is the first time I draw products. My teacher helped me of course. 

My teacher gave me two square let me to make it to be a necklace or something else, I drew a constellation-----pisces.

This is a brooch, a rose brooch. But my teacher thought it's not very 3D, just like a 2D's work.

The last picture is my design, and this is one of my most satisfied works. I really want to make it to be really one day. Why I want to be a designer? Because I want to use products by myself.

A Journey@Kyoto

This is not the first time

 to travel, but it's the first time to have a trip without  parents,just with my friend,and that day also my birthday.So this trip was special to me.
I arrive at Kansai Airport,then my friend and I take JR to Kyoto.It's the first time I went to Kyoto,this city is full of story.It was the capital of the ancient Japan,so there are many palaces and every famous sight spots have its own story.

it was on the train,the seat on the train is different from Chinese. The seat is soft and comfortable.

It's a sight train station,visitors can always see this animal's decorations. It's a raccoon I think.

I took this photo on the sight train, the speed is a little fast, the wind blew, the sun was shinny, only you need is to relax and enjoy the view in the mountain.

This is my friend. We were outside the temple.

This bridge called Togetsu Kyo(Duyue Bridge) , at the other side of the bridge is a good place to see sakura(cherry blossom), but we didn't see it, cause the timing is wrong. We sat at the dike saw people walking though the bridge, and there were many birds around us. Life is good.

This drink is Mocha, a kind of green tea, it tastes bitter,but I like the taste. At the right side it's candy, the candy is very beautiful because of the pattern on it.

We went to Inari Shrine on the third day. It was a festival I think.Cause many students there. Foxes are the eudemon of this shrine, it's the biggest Inari Shrine of Japan, like boss.......

This thing called Torii. You can see it at every shrine in Japan. Ancient Japanese trusted it's a door apart people and immortal. One of the reason why Inari Shrine is famous is it has thousands of the torii,through the mountain, called Senbon Torii.

After we climbed down the mountain, we got on the train again, we went to Nara, a small prefecture beside Kyoto.It's famous of the deer.We climbed on Wakakusa Hill(Ruo Cao hill) in the Nara Park, saw the view of the Nara.

It's the last day we stay at Kyoto. We went to Heian Shrine(PingAn Shrine). Luckily, we watched a part of traditional Japanese wedding ceremony. Tell you the truth, at first we thought it's a funeral, because all the people wore in black,and the music sounds sad. It's totally different from China.

It's the largest torii in Kyoto.It stretch across the road.

Then, we went to Chion Temple, it's the original temple of Japan. This picture I took it inside of the temple, it's a traditional garden.

 One of the sight of the temple's door. This temple have seven unbelievable things. One of these, it's the door.

It's huge right, and the steps outside the door are bigger and higher than anyone else.


I just finish my trip with my friends at Kyoto, I don't know when will I depart again, but I know I can't stop travelling. I'm always on the way.

product design

Yes! We are designers! Last creative thinking class, we divided into groups, three of a group, we found products in markets that we thought the cover is incorrect, then we written down 10 things we thought is wrong about the cover. After that, we changed

the products and redesigned the cover of the product, here are our design, we did

it!

This is our group's design, the name on the cover was "Duck's Nuts", it's strange. We change it to "Quack's Nuts". Customers can't see what inside from the original cover, so when we redesign, we dig a whole upside, that customers can see what inside, is this thing they really want it.
